The Associate of Applied Science
Degree is awarded to graduates in the following degree programs
at Valdosta Technical College:
Cooperative Agreement
These programs are two years in length. Generally, the difference
between diploma and degree programs is in the academic core curriculum.
Degree candidates must take college-level English, college algebra,
psychology, and other related courses. Valdosta Tech offers a joint
diploma/degree with Valdosta State University in Dental Hygiene.
* Cooperative Agreement program is in conjunction with Valdosta State University.
Associate Degree Nursing
The Associate Degree Nursing program is a collaborative effort between Valdosta Technical College and Southwest Georgia Technical College. Students will first take the required general education and science courses at Valdosta Technical College. Upon acceptance into the program, students will complete the nursing courses through Southwest Georgia Technical College on the Valdosta Tech campus.
The ADN program has been granted approval by the Georgia Board of Nursing and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
