Description
The Automotive Technology program is a technically advanced program
that provides the student with the knowledge and skills to become
a certified technician in the modern automotive industry. The program
emphasizes a combination of automotive mechanics theory and practical
application necessary for successful employment.
The student also receives instruction in related areas such as:
English, general mathematics, interpersonal relations, and professional
development. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical
and professional knowledge for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.
Program graduates receive a diploma.

Program Requirements
Applicants must meet general admissions requirements, and must also:
- Present official documentation of an earned high school diploma,
GED, or college degree.
- Present acceptable COMPASS/ASSET scores taken within the last
five years, or SAT, ACT or CPE scores taken within the last seven
years.
