Program
Description
The Fire Science diploma program is a sequence of courses designed
to prepare fire service personnel at all levels to become better
officers and leaders. The program provides learning opportunities
which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational
knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention,
and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities
to retrain and upgrade present knowledge and skills. Completion
of the program of study leads to a diploma in Fire Science.
