Description
The Environmental Horticulture program combines classroom instruction
with practical experience to prepare students for employment as
horticulturists and floral designers. Students will be prepared
for careers in greenhouse management, grounds maintenance, landscape
and design installation.
Instruction is provided in propagation of trees, shrubs and houseplants.
Students will also receive practical experience in soil preparation,
insect and disease identification, and control. Related classes
in marketing and business management are offered to ensure a well-rounded

This is an exciting and fun program for those who enjoy working
