Program Description
This technical certificate is designed to meet the needs of the student who is interested in installing car audio systems for personal and career opportunities. This technical certificate will give student an exit point with something beneficial for them after completing two quarters. It will also provide the student an avenue to pursue opportunities in the up and coming data communications field. The student will be able to apply the classes from this technical certificate towards a diploma in Data Communications Electronics. Students in Data Communications Electronics can aquire the Car Audio TCC as part of the diploma program. Areas included in the technical certificate are: alternating current, direct current, soldering informed buying decisions, head units, equalizers, crossover networks, amplifiers, impedance matching, speakers, speaker enclosures, sound and grounding.
