Valdosta Technical College held commencement exercises on April 22, 2008 at the VSU PE Complex. The ceremonies celebrated the accomplishments of graduates from Fall Quarter 2007 and Winter Quarter 2008.

Adult Education awarded 17 General Education Diplomas as this was the second quarter that they were honored in the college’s commencement ceremony.  The program also honored graduates of Technical Certificate Programs, Diploma and Associate of Applied Science Degrees.

Interim President Dr. F.D Toth presided over the ceremony and congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments and recognized their families for their support during their academic endeavors. Technical College System of Georgia State Board Chair Carl Swearingen was the Keynote Speaker. The graduation was well attended by graduates, families, faculty and staff as well as the Valdosta Technical College Board of Directors.
