December 3, 2008 - Priority date for placement testing for December 11th registration

December 11, 2008 - New Student Registration

December 18, 2008 - Last Evening of Quarter

December 19, 2008 - Last Day of Quarter

December 23, 2008 - Application priority date for the January 6th registration

December 23, 2008 - Priority date for placement testing for January 6th registration

January 6, 2009 - Final registration

Logon to BanWeb

About BanWeb
BanWeb (Bannerweb) is a product of the SCT® Corporation and will have a different look and feel than the rest of the Valdosta Technical College Web Site. This secure portion of the site is for use by students and faculty of Valdosta Technical College. If you are not a student or a faculty member, you will not be able to access this portion of this Web Site.

BanWeb Features
BanWeb allows students to do the following:

Logon Instructions (First Time Users)
To log into BanWeb please follow the instructions below:

  1. Click on BanWeb link to enter login page.
  2. Click on “Enter Secure Area”
  3. Your Login is your Social Security Number; Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is your date of birth in numerical format MMDDYY. (Example: Aug 20th, 1976 is 082076)
  4. You will be asked to give a security question just in case you forget your pin. (Example: What is your dogs name) Under Answer place the answer to your security question. (Example: Fido) You will be asked this question if you click on “Forgot PIN”. You must enter your answer the same way you entered into BanWeb. Do not use your PIN as the answer.
  5. In order to proceed accept the Terms of Usage by clicking “Continue”. You will be unable to login to BanWeb if you Click “Exit”
  6. If you can not login, call the Records Office at (229) 333-2142 and your login will be reset.
  7. Choose personal information at the bottom of the page to verify your address. Edit only "CURRENT" address. Do not add new or future address.
  8. Add your email address, if you have one. If you do not have an email address, you may want to get a free address from sites such as hotmail.com or excite.com. We will eventually start communicating with students via email. An Email address is required if you take an online course.
  9. You may change your PIN for increased security of your records. If you lose it, please call the records office and it will be reset for you.
  10. Please update your "Emergency Contact Information" in case we need to contact someone in an emergency.


Logon Instructions (Return User)
To log into BanWeb please follow the instructions below:

  1. Click on BanWeb link to enter login page.
  2. Click on “Enter Secure Area”
  3. Your Login is your Social Security Number; Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is your date of birth in numerical format MMDDYY. (Example: Aug 20th, 1976 is 082076) If you have changed your PIN then use the PIN that you have chosen.
  4. In case you have forgotten your pin click on “Forgot PIN”.
  5. You will be asked the security question you submitted the first time you logged into BanWeb. Enter the answer the same way you entered answer during first time you logged into BanWeb. (Example: Question “What color is my car?” Answer “Blue”)
  6. You will be prompted to enter a new PIN. This will be your pin unless you change it by clicking on “Personal Information” and then click on “Change PIN” and submit a new PIN.
  7. If you can not login, call the Records Office at (229) 333-2142 and your login will be reset.

After you have gained access to BanWeb, click on any of the links available and follow the instructions on the page. Be sure to fill in all required fields. Please return to BanWeb on a regular basis as we will be adding more features for your convenience.

Request a Transcript

  1. Follow log in instructions above
  2. Click on "Student Services and Financial Aid"
  3. Click on "Student Records"
  4. Click on "Request Official Copy of Transcript"
  5. Finish by following directions in BanWeb to complete the request

Check Your Grades

  1. Follow log in instructions above
  2. Click on ""Student Services and Financial Aid"
  3. Click on "Student Records"
  4. Choose the category you wish to view

Check Your GPA

  1. Follow log in instructions above
  2. Click on "Student Services and Financial Aid"
  3. Click on "Student Records"
  4. Choose the category you wish to view

Update Your Profile

  1. Follow log in instructions above
  2. Click on "Personal Information"
  3. Click on category you would like to change (Note: If changing address, edit only "current" address. Do not add new or future addresses).
  4. Follow directions in BanWeb

View General Student Record

  1. Follow logon instructions
  2. Click on "Student Services and Financial Aid"
